Delivered to the U.S. Army in 1948, the Bell H-13 Sioux light helicopter is easily recognized by its full bubble canopy, exposed welded-tube tail boom, saddle fuel tanks and skid landing gear. A replica of an OH-13S - a variant of the H-13 outfitted with a turbocharged 260 hp TVO-435-25 engine - used for reconnaissance during the Vietnam War, this 1/48 scale, plastic kit includes all those features plus a detailed cockpit with optional doors, an intricate engine, and a choice of U.S. Army, British Army, and Italian Air Force markings. 8" long with a 9¼" rotorspan; 94 parts, assembly required.
