Replicating a Wessex HU.5 helicopter (a troop transport capable of carrying 16 Royal Marines) flown by the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm's No. 845 Naval Air Squadron when it was stationed on the HMS Bulwark in 1969, this limited edition, 1/72 scale, die cast Corgi model features engraved panel lines; a detailed cockpit with hand-painted crew figures and a greenhouse canopy with separately applied, photo-etched metal wiper blades; two sets of rotor blades to display the helicopter in either ground (drooping blades) or flight (upward-curving blades) modes; a sliding cargo door; authentic markings; and more. Measures 11" long with a 9¼" rotorspan and includes a display stand.
